Bird Watching Sites
 

Bird watching locations in and around Robert Lee include:
Lake Spence –
  • Take the Humble Crossing north of Robert Lee on 208.  There will be a sign about eight miles out on the west side of the road.  Sandhill cranes winter here, as do other water fowl.  The red throated loon has also been seen at Humble Crossing.
Mountain Creek Lake-
  • On Highway 158, east of Robert Lee, has several duck species which winter here.
Fern Havin Park-
  •  In Robert Lee hosts herons, geese, kingfishers
The road to Red Canyons
  • East on Highway 158, has two ponds which attract the painted bunting and the blue grosebeaks in the spring.  The key is available at City Hall.  Call 453-2831 for the key and directions.
